Michael William Augustus Lynch, labourer, 30, was found guilty of obtaining £l3l 13s from Arthur Janies Anderson at Feilding by falsely representing that £520 was due to him from his father ’s estate, and committing forgery by writing a bogus letter with the intention that it be acted on as genuine, and sending two telegrams allegedly signed by his sister with intention that they be acted upon as genuine. Accused was remanded for sentence.
