ALLEGED CONSPIRACY
CRAFTSMAN COMPANY CASE. [ Per Press Association 1 WELLINGTON. Feb. 5. The trial of Ernest Mabin Gilmour and Charles Ernest Vickers, charged with conspiracy to defraud and ialse pretences in connection with the sale of vendors’ and contributing shares in the Craftsman Company, was resumed in tho Supreme Court today. Harrv Valentine Roberts, liquidator of the company, appointed by the shareholders in 1931, was cross examined regarding tho directorate and management b\ W. K- L< ■ council, who said that the defence alleged mismanagement and accused were being made scapegoats. Despite the Crown Prosecutor s objection, tho ques'lions were allowed by Mr. Justice Smith, who remarked: “I think Leicester is merely impugning the directors.
