ENGLAND BEATS N.Z. AUSTRALIA’S TURN NOW SYDNEY, Feb. 4. In the international croquet Poulter and relley defeated Airs. Corbett and Hartnell, giving England victory against New Zealand by four rubbers, eight games, 316 points to two rubbers, 7 games, 273 in the first phase of the triangular test. The second phase, Australia v. Eng land, was then begun. 11l the England v. Australia games Polley defeated McCleery, Miller defeated Du Pre, AVindsor defeated Poultcr, Hunt defeated AA’emyss. Progress totals are: England one rubber, two games, 99 points; Australia 3 rubbers, six games, 161 points.
