ILLICIT STILLS

IRISH JUDGE’S ATTITUDE. J.ON DON, Feb. 3. The Guar.lian's Dublin correspondent says that Air. Justice W’alsh, when trying cases of illicit whisky distilling in Donegal, where the offence, is rife, ascertains the accused's religion. It he is a Catholic the Judge imposes a sterner sentence on the grounds that he has violated both the civil law and the Church's commandment, as Catholic Bishops recently condemned illicit distilling. Air. AValsh, who is himself a Catholic, holds that the notion that the Law Courts are concerned only with man’s civic and not his religious duty is the unfortunate result of the British regime, of secularism and must be cor reeled now that the Free State is essen tially- Catholic.

AFRAID TO GO TO BED WOMAN'S DREAD OF RHEUMATIC PAINS I THANKS KR USCH EX .FOR RELIEF □’he effect of rheumatism upon this woman was a peculiar one. She so dreaded the numbness that used to overcome her at night that, she was afraid to go to bed. She tells her experiences in the letter published below: “[ have been suffering from rheumatism for years. At one time 1 could scarcely walk xvith pains in my feet. The thumb of my left hand was so stiff 1 could only bend it with the aid of the right hand. I was afraid to go to bed, as my right hand and arm up to the elbow used to go numb, and the pain was just terrible until I got- the circulation going again. I started to take a half-leaspoonful of Kruschen in a glass of hot, water before breakfast, and believe me I feel a. different woman. I 101 l everyone, what I take, and the good it has done me.’-' —(Mrs.) W. A. B. The pains of rheumatism are caused by deposits of needle-pointed uric acid crystals in the muscles and joints. The most effective solvents of these crystal deposits are sodium and potassium. Glauber Salts contains sodium only. Epsom Salts has no solvent action at all, as it is not absorbed by the blood. Now Kruschen Salts contain both

sodium and potassium. They are the only’ salts which bring a double action to boar in dissolving the uric, acid crystals. Then other constituent salts of Kruschen assist Nature to expel these dissolved crystals through the natural channels. Still other salts in Kruschen prevent, food fermentation or decomposition taking place in the intestines, and thereby check the further formation, not only of uric acid, but of other bodv poisons which undermine the health. Kruschen Salts is obtainable at all Chemists and Stores at 2/6 per bottle.
