BIG-GAME FISHING
AMERICANS’ AMBITIONS. SEEKING TO BEAT RECORD. BRISBANE, Feb. 4. Three Americans—Messrs. E. Poole. 11. Rutherford, and E. Williams—have arrived at Brisbane en route to New Zealand and Tahiti to try to beat the world’s record for rod and line fishing. They are bringing with them a fast motor-boat especially equipped, and special tackle designed to hold a fish up to Lsoolbs.
