THE SYDNEY SALES Received Feb. 4, 9.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Seb. 4. At the wool sales 11,876 bales were offered and 10,692 were sold, also ISO I privately. There was good competition from Yorkshire, Japan and France, with moderate support from Germany, prices were on a par with last week. Good wools were in Keen request, but doubtful yielding sorts were ftill irregular, withdrawals of which were fairly heaby. Greasy Merino made 20d. The average price last week was £ll 16s lOd a bale, or 9.4 d per lb.
