POWERFUL SUBMARINES
NEW FRENCH VESSEL. Received Feb. 3, 7.30 p.m, ST. NAZAIRE, Feb. 2. A 1500-ton submarine, equipped with 11 torpedo tubes, a 100-millimetre gun, and two anti-aircraft guns, and with a radius of 9000 miles, was launched to-day. It is named the Casablanca, commemorating the boy hero. The guests included a Judge who is a direct descendant of Uasabianca’s father.
