BUYING AND SELLING THE 1935 FIXATIONS. 'l'he following tables, compiled by the New Zealand Wheat Purchase Board, 1935 F.A.Q. milling wheat. In all cases sacks are extra—new 48-inch at lOd each, one used 48-inch at 8d each (46inch sacks one half-pennv less in each case).— Buying Prices. (1) For all F.A.Q. milling whoa', grown in the South Island north of a straight line drawn from Waikouaiti to Queenstown except wheat in the Lug-gatc-Arrowtown district:—

The buying price for Dreadnought is the same as lor Tuscan and the buying prices for Webbs Harvester and Goldberry twopence less than Tuscan. (2). For all F.A.Q. milling wheat grown in the South Island south of a straight line drawn from Waikouaiti to Queenstown except wheat in the Luggat c-Arrow t o w n dist r i ct:

All the above prices are f.o.b. grower’s nearest port.

(4) The buying price of North Island F.A.Q. milling wheat for all varieties with the exception of Jambuck variety or wheat o-f equivalent quality shall be one halfpenny more than the price specified a.bove; these prices to be the prices delivered on trucks at grower’s nearest railway station or delivered at any of the following mills:—Messrs, Manawatu Mills Ltd., Palmerston North; Hodder and Tolley, Ltd. (Feilding; Henderson Bros.. Ltd., Carterton; Southern Cross Biscuit Co., Ltd., Wanganui. Selling Prices. (5) F.A.Q. milling wheat grown in South Island with exception of Nelson, Marlborough, Luggate, Arrowtown and south of a straight line drawn from Waikouaiti to Queenstown: —

Certified Seed Wheat. (I<| i Wheat certified as seed wheat under the seed wheat certification scheme of the Department, of Agriculture in association with the Wheat Research Institute is exempted from the operations of the Regulations under Re gelations, Clause 7 (b). Nelson Wheat. (11 i In accordance with the provisions of Regulation Clause 7 (a) wheat grown in the provincial district, of Nelson is exempted from the operations of the regulations provided that any manufacturer of food products for human consumption in the said district shall in respect of any wheat grown in the said district and used by him pay to the board the difference between the cost to him of any such wheat and the sum of 4s I Id per bushel.
