REVIVING OLD ME MO RLE a (“Chronicle,” November 6,1909). The Borough Council reported to th« board that the town bridge was to be sheathed with jarrah, and that under the Wanganui Bridge Act, 1833, the board was required to keep the turntable portion properly planked. It was stated at the Harbour Board meeting last evening that the blasting of the Charles Edward cost £220. It is the intention of the Borough Council to nin cars from Aramoho to the Racecourse on show days.
