PRINCE GEORGE

WEDDING CEREMONY. THREE ROYAL PROCESSIONS. YOUNG COUPLE’S QUALITIES, LONDON, Sept. 2. Tho Observer states that at the wedding of Prince George there will be three separate Royal processions to Westminster Abbey—those of Their Majesties, of Princess Marina and her parents, and of the bridegroom. Each procession will be in full state, and will be escorted by household cavalry. Their Majesties and ex-King George of Greece, Princess Marina’s cousin, discussed the arrangements during the week-end at Balmoral. Writing in the Sunday Dispatch, the Marquess of Donegall states that Princess Marina’s fine-grained skin, flushed a natural pink, and her softly-waving brown hair, give her a typically English appearance. Her eyes change with every mood, the Marquess writes. She eats the plainest of food, and wears the simplest of dresses, generally of dark colours. Princess Marina has never worn jewellery. With the exception of a string of pearls, which belonged to her mother, her engagement ring will be the first piece of jewellery she has possessed. Her. favourite stones are sapphires. Lady Asquith writes that she has known Prince George srince he was a I little boy, and has never seen him fail in courtesy, good temper, and keenness. He has a true sense of duty and great power of enjoyment. Of Princess Marina, Lady Asquith says: “She is a woman of great charm and personality.”
