GREENLAND EXPLORERS
L V DEPARTURE FOR HOME. 1 3 LEFT JUST IN TIME. LONDON, Sept. 16. A Times copyright from Mr. Lind- g say, at Angmagssalik, states that the 1 expedition has embarked on the Scot- s< tish fishing vessel Jacinth, which is h going to Aberdeen. The ice conditions t are becoming worse and it was feared e that they would be obliged to remain C in Greenland for another year. b The French expedition under M. si Charcot failed to penetrate the pack ice. Count Bonzi’s Italian expedition a was also unsuccessful. It is gratifying b that the British expedition succeeded in reaching the common objective and reached unexpected country behind the P east coast of Greenland without a depot iw supporting the party over the 1000 | L railes sledging.
