GONVILLE CLUB SEASON'S ACTIVITIES. OFFICIAL OPENING SATURDAY. 'l’he Gonville Club’s courts presented a bright aspect over the week-end, many members taking advantage of the fine weather to make their first appearance this season. The club will be holding its official opening on Saturday, September 22 t with the usual progressive tournament. A dance will take place in the Victoria League Rooms, St. Hill Street, on the evening of the same day. Thu contractor has started on the top-dress-ing of court No. 5 and repairs arc also being carried out to court No. 6. This will give the club five first-class courts by opening day. Members are anticipating a very successful season.
