OBITUARY
MR. J. J. DOUGALL. I Per Press Association. I CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 3. The death occurred this evening of Mr J. J. Dougall, one of the oldest and best-known members of the legal profession in the city. Some years ago he was .prominent in civic affairs. He was Mayor of Christchurch in 1912, a member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board for six years, and r member of Canterbury College Council. His chief preoccupation for many years has been the Nevy League. He has been president of the Christchurch branch for the last 11 years.
