MONT ST. QUENTIN
ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY AMIENS, Sept. 2. On the anniversary of the recapture of Monte St. Quentin, Major Beauvais presided at the commemoration ceremony of laying two wreaths on the monuments to French and —Australian soldiers. After the service, the Mayor, in a short address, read General Rosenthal’s letter of thanks for the flag the French Commune had presented to the Second Australian Division.
