STATE LOTTERY
SIR W. DAVIDSON’S MOVE. LONDON, Sept. 2. Sir William Davidson has tabled a resolution to the Conservative Conference favouring a State lottery, half of each £1,000,000 subscribed to go to the State and the remainder as prizes.
