In Dr. Schacht’s instructions the Reichsbank has notified Herr Goebbels that no further foreign currency will be available for propaganda outside Germany, on which tens of millions of pounds have been spent annually. “ PROTECTIVE ” CUSTODY 742 PRISONERS RELEASEE. THE SYSTEM MODIFIED. Received Sept. 2, 8.40 p.m. BERLIN, Sept. L Herr Goering released 742 from pro. tective custody in I‘russian concentration camps. Protective custody, in future, will be applied only in emergencies. Henceforth, all prisoners are to be dealt with in the ordinary Courts.
