MUSSOLIN’S MOVE
INVITATION TO SOCIALISTS. TO AID CORPORATIVE STATE. NEW OUTLOOK IN ITALY. LONIDON, Aug. 31. The Daily Telegraph's Milan correspondent says that Signor Mussolini iias approached prominent survivors of tho Socialist Party, which he suppressed, with the suggestion that they join him and form a new Socialist wing of the Fascist Party. lu return, :hey would receive a number of important posts in the party, especially idministrative departments of the Corporative State, which controls all abour and oupm in Italy. The explanation of the Duce’s latest move is that the Corporative State has assumed unwieldly proportions and must be worked with collaborators whom Labour trusts. Secondly, there is the increase in unemployment and Italy’s dwindling exports which make I’resh wage cuts and labour restrictions imperative.
