CANADIAN POLITICS THREE NEW GOVERNMENTS. OTTAWA, Aug. 4. Elections held in mid-Juno compelled the resignation of tho Conservative Governments in the provinces of Ontario and Saskatechewan, which were replaced by Liberal administrations. At the same time the resignation of Air. J. E. Brownlee, head of the United Farmers’ administration in .Alberta, resulted in the choice of Air. Richard G Reid as his successor and brought about a reorganisation of the Cabinet. In Ontario the new premier is Air. Mitchell Hepburu, at 37 one of the youngest government heads in the Empire. He was a member of the House of Commons for some years, but until his recent election never sat in tho legislature where now his voice dominates. Mr. James G. Gardiner, the new premier of Saskatchewan, held that position from 1926 to 1930. He is 51 years of age. Air. Reid, in Alberta, was a member of the. Brownlee Government, and is 55.
