Ltd., London, who quote prices as follow: Lambs, 2’s, 7 l-8d to 7id; B’s, 6Jd to 7d; 4’s, 6-ld to 6id; seconds, 6Ad to 7{d. Wethers, I’s, 7’s, sid to 5 5-8 d; 3’s, 9’s, s’s, 4£d to ssd. Ewes, I’s, 7’s, 4d to 4 3-8 d; 3’s, 9’s, s’s, 3Ad to 3 7-Bd. Ox beef hinds 3 l-8d to 3sd; fores 2 l-8d to 2Jd. Cow hinds, 2Ad to 2Jd; fores, lAd to 12d. Porkers, 6|d to 6Jd. Baconers sjd to 6d. Henry S. Fitter and Sons, Ltd-, have received the following cabled report from their London office:—Lambs: The demand is moderate, with the market weaker for second quality; first grade remaining firm- »Wethers: Trade rather irregular; moderate business is being done. Ewes: The market is short of stocks until next arrivals. Beef: The market is dull and little business doing. Pork: The market has improved owing to shorter supplies. Trade generally is slow. Prices are quoted as follow: —New Zealand lambs, 2’s, 7d to 7ld. Lambs, B’s, to 6 7-Bd. Lambs, 4’s, 6 3-8 d to 6id. Secondary lambs, 6 3-8 d to 7d.
