Miss Pengelly, of the Collegiate School, left on Friday last for Wellington. Mrs. Hylton Strauehon, of Gonville, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. J. Young, Durio Hill, i s holidaying in Auckland. Air. and Mrs. J. Strachan were Christchurch visitors to Wanganui during the week-end. Miss Shirley Cramond, St. John's Hill, is visiting Wellington. Dr. Elizabeth Gunn is visiting her mother in Christchurch. * ♦ * • Mrs. Cheviot Bell and Miss Enid Bell, Lowry Bay, Tvho have been visiting Wanganui, have returned to Wellington. * ♦ » < Miss 11. Gilbertson, of Wanganui East, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. A. Lee and family, of Carlton Avenue, arc spending the school holidays as the guests of Mrs. F. Shadbolt, I’aparangi. Miss 1. Maclean, of New Plymouth, is spending the school vacation in Wanganui with her mother, Mrs. T. B-, Maclean, Victoria Avenue. Mrs. It. Millward, of New Plymouth, was a visitor to Wanganui for a few days during last week. Miss R. Mayo and Miss Painter were Feilding visitors to Wanganui last week. Miss M. Howie, who has been spending a holiday in Wanganui and Feilding, is now visiting Hunterville before returning to the Ahu Ahu Valley. Mrs. J. Jamieson, of Napier, who has been spending a week iu Wanganui after a long stay in Wellington, leaves to-day on. a short visit to Mrs.. Alan Maxwell, Patea, and will later visit relatives and friends in the Rangitikei and Feilding districts.
