THE REGENT REVUE On Saturday afternoon the .Regent Revue was presented at the Regent I Theatre, and will continue to-dny and ( to-morrow afternoon. The revue. , which was presented by th< Bridges Trio and tclevcr young arti,-:s of Wanganui and Taranaki, provided excellent entertainment, and was loudly applauded by the large audience. The curtains rose on a picturesque Maori scena by the Bridges Trio and <‘ompany. The stage was grouped with < Maori maidens wearing beautiful pui puis, and the haunting strains of guitars and Maori wniatns were brought to a climax with a spirited haka. man Bloomfield executed a military fap with smart precision and was fan’tlessly dressed in rod and gold. Then followed a sweet Dutch story in song and dance by Shirley Mills and A’ix Morrison, whivh was charmingly acted. |i As an encore, Alix and Shirley gave an t 1 acrobatic tap duo, which was a star item. Isabel Thynno, Waitotara, de- , lighted in a difficult Russian Cossack dance. Alix Mnrrison. of Waverlcy. 1 again displayed her ability in a Lancn- , shire elog.
