BADMINTON
GONVILLE CLUB INTER-CLUB MATCH. An inter-club match has been arranged with the Savage Club for next Friday evening, when the B team will try conclusions with the “Savages” on their own hunting ground. The following team has been selected and is to be ready to play at 7 p.m.:—
Cullen, Scoullar, Galyer, Muir, Millward, Naylor, Tizard. Any member not- available must advise the secretary immediately. Arrangements are also in hand for matches with the Wanganui and Palmerston North clubs and it is expected that the dub will be kept fully occupied in this direction for the next few weeks. It is very gratifying to see the improvement in play of this season’s first year players. They have been developing their game along sound lines and with additional practice and coaching • will be players to be reckoned with.
