CLEARING SALE
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report holding a dairy sale on account of Mr. A. C. Birch, Thoresby, Marton, last week, when there was quite a fair attendance of the public. Taking everything into consideration the sale was quite successful, the cows coming forward in excellent condition, calving dates and butter-fat records being given at the sale. Prices realised were as follows:—Early culvers, £3 10s, £3 1.55, £4, £4 ss, £4 10s, £4 15s. £5, £5 I.os to £6; later calvers, £2, £2 ss, £2 10s, to £3 ss. Pigs: Sows due to farrow. £2 17s 6d to £3 10s. Implements: Tumbler sweep. 30s; block dray, £l2 10s; tripod harrows. £3 12s 6d.
