A boy christened Florian La Brosseur. son of French-born American citizens, at Boston (Mass.), and fighting under the famous ring-name of Al Al‘Coy. is considered to be the next world’s middleweight champion. He entered an amateur tourney when 12 years of age, aud now, in his early twenties, he has a record of 67 bouts for 64 wins, two losses, and one drawn verdict. His last unofficial victory was over Vince Dundee, American middleweight. champion, who, however, received the official verdict.
