JSmith has resumed duties on the postal stall. Mr. T Stroud, postal staff, leaves today for Hamilton, where he has been transferred. Mrs. P, Daubuey has returned from a visit, to Taihape. Air. and Airs. T. M. Pairman have returned from their holiday, GOLF The medal round played during the week-end was won by Mr. R. Bunker and his son, I’. Bunker, who tied with a 62 nett score. AIANTLE OF SNOW Bitterly cold weather lias been experienced during the past week, On Tuesday morning the countryside was under a heavy mantle of snow. At Te Kapau, Alanui and Kauwhatau the snow was from four to six inches deep.
