General Election
INTENTION IN AUSTRALIA WILL AVOID ANY DELAY (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) Received July 3, .10.4 p.m. CANBERRA, July 3. It is reported that the Federal Cab inet to-day decide upon a general elec tion as early as possible, probably in the middle of September. A definite dato will be fixed when the party reports from all States have been* obtained. Conferences between the United Aus tralia Party and the Country Party have resulted in the recent political differences, chiefly with regard to the tariff, being overcome.
