In connection with the work of re storation of the House of Parliament Big Ben’s tower has been partially hid den under scaffolding for the past fey months, and the clock itself, which i one of the most accurate in the world has been undergoing an overhaul. Th familiar chimes will be resumed to morrow, and the scaffolding will b removed during the present week.
