KITCHEN EVENING
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett, St. John’s Hill, was th£ scene of a happy gathering on Saturday, when a “kitchen” evening was given in honour of Miss Margaret Gill, who is to be. married in the near future to Air. C. C. Day, and will then be leaving Wan ganui to take up residence at Matamata. A series of musical items, competitions, etc., wore greatly enjoyed by the guests, who showed the esteem in which the guest of the evening is hold, ‘ by presenting her with a varied assort - ' ment of useful gifts. The host and I hostess spared no effort to make the ’ evening a complete success in every ’ way.
