BREWER’S £564,582
Mr. diaries Francis Tetley, chairman o" Joshua Tetley and Son, Ltd., brewers, of Leeds, Lord Mayor of Leeds in 1897, a generous donor to the church, to Leeds University, and other charities, left £564,582. He stated that he had in 1931 transferred £35,000 to his sons to be held by them under a trust for charitable objects. Several annuities and bequests were made to servants and other employees.
