COLOUR WAR ENDED
Boatmen art, Blackpool, Lancashire, are painting their boats pure white, with a green keel. Thus ends a war of colours, in which the boatmen tried to out-paint each other. In the end they decided that the medley of colours spoiled the look of the boats. After an , informal meeting they decided on the white and green colour scheme.
