QUEEN’S OWN CONCERT
What appears an exceptional programme will be featured at the Opera House to-morrow evening by the Queen’s Own Band and supporting artists. Miss Grade Kerr and Mr. Alf. Elston (Wellington) will entertain with character impersonations and humour. Mrs. Freda Cunningham, fresh from her Australian tour, will present specially selected pianoforte selections. Bandsman Chas. Thompson will play his solo with which he secured the possible points at the Palmerston North contest. The junior and senior bands will be in attendance and a wonderful concert is anticipated.
