CENTENARY AIR RACE
NEW ZEALAND ENTRANTS. (Per Press Association). AUCKLANID, June 28.. Squadron-Leader J. 8. Hewett and Flying-Officer Cyril Kay, will leave Auckland by the Ruahine on July 14 for England to prepare for participation in the Melbourne centenary air race. A deposit of £556 has been paid to purchase a Do Haviland Dragon moth ’plane, which will cost £4245 without the necessary appliances. It will be delivered on October 10.
