OFFICER’S SUICIDE
AUSTRALIAN INQUIRY. DISMISSAL FROM NAVY. CANBERRA, June 26. On the recommendation of the. Minister of Defence, the Federal Cabinet has decided to appoint a Royal Commission to investigate the invaliding and discharge of Lieutenant-Commander A. O. Casey from the Royal Australian Casey tuck his life after he had been discharged. His relatives have since sought ar. inquiry into I lie circumstances of his dismissal, which, it is | claimed, contributed to his death. Casey I received no compensation when he was dismissed.
