CONTROL OF CYCLING
NEW ZEALAND FEDERATION POSITION UNWORKABLE 1 Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. A motion to disband the New Zealand Cycling Federation was ruled out of order when it was brought before a meeting of the federation to-night. The motion was submitted by an amateur delegate and, in effect, he declared that control of cycling under thc federation had been found to be unworkable and that it would be in the interests of both cash and amateur sections that they seek their own respective affiliations with the world controlling bodies through t&eir own appropriate channels. The chairman refused to accept the motion, saying that the proper procedure would be for a declaration to come from thc amateur body, possibly by cancelling affiliation.
