Major Colville -states that the reports lif the various delegates in the .trade mission to Poland are being consideied in connection with preparations for negotiations for an Anglo-Polish trade agrement. It was recently announced that the Westinghouse Brake and Saxby- Signal Company had. concluded a contract with the Polish Government for £4,900,000 in connection with fittings for brakes on the Polish State railways. Other important contracts involving £2,000.000 recently have been secured in Poland by B>’tisli firms. Dr. Burgin informed the House of Commons that the Government was proceeding as rapidly as possible with the consideration of the trade situation between Turkey and Britain, although he was not in a. position at present to make anv statement.
