FOOTBALL OiiaKuue met Hukaroa on Saturday and after a good game tbe score was 12 to 3 in favour of Ohakune. From t scrum Simpson got across and put up ►he only score for Hukaroa. Soon Clemmett got across for Ohakune, equalising matters. From the kick-off Ohakune were awarded a free kick and Clemett put the ball over, adding 3 more points for Ohakune. At halftime the score was: Ofiakune 6, Hukaroa 3. Some good following up by Ohakune resulted in Bolton scoring ander the posts, but the kick failed, ‘he ball hitting the posts. Buckinglam was the next to score for Ohaiune, but again the kick failed and ihe whistle sounded with the score: Ohakuno 12, Hukaroa 3.
