Miss Earle gave a very interesting demonstration on home nursing. The branch she dealt with being the cart of an aged and helpless person. She was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. The competition for the month was a plate of plain scones and was won by Mrs. Cosgrove with Airs Gordon second and Airs. Snellgrove third. The competition for June will be an article made from a sugar bag. During the afternoon Mrs. Swainson sang “A Bowl of Roses.” Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Dickie, Dukeson, Gordon and Miss Petrie. The singing of Paean of Empire and the National Anthein brought a very happy meeting to a close.
