ON THE BEACH AT PETONE.—Boats of the “Idle Along” class which took part in the first race for the Schoolboys’ Yachting Shield, presented by sportsmen of the Hutt Valley and held on Saturday under the control of the Heretaunga Sai ing Club. Eleven boats, representing four Hutt Valley schools, took part in two races, Wilford School winning the trophy with one first and two seconds.
