BRITISH FUNDING LOAN
RAPIDLY OVERSUBSCRIBED. LONDON, April 5. The funding loan was oversubscribed in ninety minutes. % LAST OF THE SERIES. RUGBY, April 5. The subscription lists opened this morning for the British Government 3 per cent, funding loan of 150,000,000 and closed at 11.30. The issue completes the series of funding operations following the Great War loan conversion accomplished in 1932. There are now no important maturities to be dealt with until 1938.
