N.S.W. EXPENDITURE. Received April 6, 11.55 p.m. SYDNEY, April 6. At the United Australia Party convention to-day, an announcement was made that the N.S.W. Government had arranged to spend £8,500,000 on relief works through the Water and Sewerage Board and the Irrigation Commission. It was stated that 75,000 men were at present employed on various relief works.
