GIRL STOWAWAY
RETURNED TO SYDNEY (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. When the Alonowai sailed for Sydney to-day, one of those aboard her was Lizettc Andersen, aged 15, the girl who stowed away when the ship sailed from Sydney a week ago allegedly for the purpose of visiting her parents in Auckland. On arrival she said her parents, who arc Dutch, had come to Australia three years ago and had moved to Auckland some mouths ago, leaving her in charge of friends. She was later taken to the central police station to await a verification of her statement, and she was afterwards charged with being an. undesirable alien and remanded. To-day a deportation order was made and a little adventurer once again was placed on the liner. Shortly before the Alonowai’s departure a man was found hidden in the potato locker and taken in charge. It is alleged that he had two packed suitcases with him.
