RIOTING MOSLEMS
FIRED ON BY TROOPS. VIOLENCE IN INDIA. Received Feb. 8, 11.15 p.m. CALCUTTA, Feb. 7. Three wore killed and many injured when State troops fired on a riotous mob of thousands of Moslems in the town of Bijebhara, Kashmir. Fanatical Moslems, demonstrating against alleged religious grievances, launched an attack with sticks and stones. Five Indian soldiers who were combing tho Midnaporc district, Bengal, for terrorists, were burnedto death when a thatched shed in which they wore’ sleeping was set on fire early in the morning. Twenty-five others escaped.
