MAORI GREETINGS
Sir, I notice in the Governor’s greetings to the Maori people at Waitangi in the Maori language printed in your paper, viz., “E to iwi tena ua pcople Rreetirfgs to you nil), the word kotoa should be koutou, and also the concluding speech, “Ka nui taku arolia kia kotu” (great is my affectionate regard to you all), the word kotu should be koutou, also. This is just a correction. I am, etc., TAMATEA.
