THE EXCHANGE SCHEME. [ Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. Under the imperial teachers’ exchange scheme, Miss M. A. Drury, of South Yorkshire, arrived by the Monowai to under 12 months’ teaching in New Zealand. For the first three months Miss Drury will replace Miss Barbara Clark, who left Wellington about the middle of December on exchange to a school in England. After three months’ service at Wellington she will be sent to other schools in the Dominion to enable her to gain a wide experience of the schools and teaching in this country. Under the same scheme a London teacher arrived in Auckland recently.
