Rhododendron Dell
The Wanganui City Council owns a section, just beyond the Virginia Lake, that dips down to an almost perfect basin shape. At present it is covered with fern, and Mr. T. Tucker, the city gardener, has made the suggestion that it be converted into a rhododendron dell. Councillors inspected the propel ty yesterday, and were impressed with the fact that it was at the city’s northern "door,” and if it was beautified as suggested, it would be worth while. The matter was noted for future reference.
