NURSES’ REST HOME

A WAB MEMORIAL. An interesting account of the opening of a rest home for nurses, situated in one of the loveliest spots in Tuscany and dedicated to the memory of the Italian nurses who died on active service during the Great War, appears in the New Zealand Nursing Journal (Kai Tiaki). It was opened by H.R.H. the Dowager Duchess d’ Aosta. ° j * The home is open to nurses of all nations all the year round. The guests are sure of a warm welcome in the -■harming villa, and all there try to contribute to their comfort and enjoyment. The house has central heating, but even in winter, the climate is mild and all the rooms sunny and warm. It sounds ideal, for the heat is tempered with a light breeze, and the summer evenings are something to dream about. The arrangements for receiving guests are very complete, and special arrangements for prices are made to suit those who come, and who are mostly not too well provided with this world’s goods. It should be an ideal spot for nurses to meet others of the same profession belonging to other nations.
