Twenty-eight years ago eight young men employed at Dr. Barnardo’s Homes arranged to moot on tho steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral on the first Saturday of November, 1925, and once a year afterward until only one of their number was left. Three of them, Mr. U. Artiss, Mr. W. E. Horne and tho Rev. P. Goodenough, a Baptist minister, kept their appointment last month. The remaining survivor of the original eight, Mr S. Duorden, could not al tend owing to illness. Two of the original eight were killed in the war and two have lied.
