PERILS OF HIGH HEELS
t Judge, Muscowitzy, of Brooklyn. New York, has ruled that women who wear high heels have no redress in law if the fall and injure tliemselves. Mrs. Agnes Hudson, aged 54, with a height of sft. 33in., and list.’ 61b. in weight, sued the owner of a fishing vessel lor £15,000 damages for injuries received when she fell down the companionway of his boat. The heels of her shoes were. 4in. high. The judge dismissed the case.
