THE WAITARA REGATTA ANNOUNCEMENT OF DATE Advise has been received by the secretary of the Wanganui Bowing Association that the Waitara regatta is to take place on the Waitara River on March .10. This date tits in well with the programme affecting Wanganui oarsmen, which is as follows: — New Plymouth regatta, January 1. Wanganui regatta, January 20. Wellington regatta, February 10. Championship regatta (Picton), February 17. Hcad-of-the-rivcr race, February 24. Aulscbrook Cup, March 3. Waitara regatta, March 10. Interprovincial rave (Wellington), March 31. Several Wanganui crews have announced their intention of visiting Now Plymouth on New Year’s Day, while the Aramoho Boating Club’s senior, junior, and maiden heavyweigt crews will probably visit Rotorua for the Auckland Association’s regatta.
