BOARD’S ANNOUNCEMENT. [Per Prca. Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 21. Tho Wheat Purchase Board has is» sued a circular notifying the interim payments arranged foi the 1934 wheat crop of milling wheat. Tho price for the main varieties has been advanced 2d a bushel on last year’s figures, with the usual monthly increments after March. The buying price by tho millers is unaltered. The North Island is this year included in the regula tions. Following are the prices, sacks in ah cases extra: — January, February and March prices are: Tuscan, 3s 6d; Hunter’s, 3s Bd| Pearl and Velvet, 3s lOd; all f.o.b grower’s nearest port. The buying price for North Island, all varieties, is tho same, and South Island Tuscan plus lOd a bushel delivered at certain mills. At Feilding. Palmerston North, Marton, Carterton and Wanganui, the soiling prices of January, February and March Tuscan or equivalent quality is, 4s 7Ad; Hunter’s, 4s 9}d; Pearl and Velvet, 4s 11 id. Wheat growing in Marlborough, if sold for South Island delivery, is at 4d a bushel above these prices, but. if for North Island delivery tho prices are the same as for Canterbury. Selling prices for North Island wheat aro the same as South Island Tuscan, plus 9d in Palmerston, 0d in Feilding, <Hd in Marton, 10d in Carterton, and OJd in Wanganui.
